王庆祥，男，1960年9月出生，祖籍河南省平顶山市宝丰县。现为河南省平顶山市政协委员，《平顶山日报》社摄影记者。中国摄影家协会会员，河南省摄影家协会会员，平顶山市摄影家协会副主席。
曾在《中国摄影》、《中国摄影家》、《大众摄影》、《摄影世界》、《摄影画报》等杂志发表文章及摄影作品。作品《舞台生涯》入选第五届国际摄影艺术展览，并参加泰国、日本等国巡回展览。《冬天里的春天》在第十六届全国摄影艺术展览中入选，《盼》在第七届国际摄影艺术展览中入选。新闻组照《大山深处的“孩子王”》曾在1997年《人民日报》、《中国图片报》、《中国教育报》等10多家新闻媒体发表。并获全国地市州盟报第九届好新闻摄影作品金奖。新闻摄影作品《20户农民两手空空欲哭无泪》获1998年度中国晚报新闻奖评选二等奖。曾多次采访大的突发事件并对社会不良现象进行批评性报道，产生较大的社会影响。
自1983年从事摄影工作以来，先后有360余幅摄影作品在国际、国家、省级报刊、影赛中发表、展出、其中30余幅获奖。曾出版“马街书会”摄影集，入编《中国文艺家传集》《中国摄影家专集》等。

Male,born in Sept,1960,in his ancestrial home,Baofeng
County,Pingdingshan City,is now the jounalist of Pingdingshan Daily
of Henan Province,the member of the photographer’s Union,the member
of Henan Photographer’s Union,the Deputy-Chairman of the
Photographer’s Union of Pingdingshan City,He has published a lot of
articles and photographic works in China.Photography,in Chinese
Photographers,in Popular Photography,in Photo World and in
Photgraphic Pictorial and so on.
His works, “Stage Career” has been exhibited in the fifth
international.Photographic Art Exhibition in Japan and
Thailand.“Spring in Winter” has been exhibited in the 16th National
Photography exhibition. “Expectation” has been exhibited in the 7th
International Photographic Art Exhibition.His suit of photographs,
“King of the Children in Deep Mountains” was published in more than
10 news media,including People’s Daily China’s Picture and China’s
Education Daily in 1997,and won the gold medal of the 9th Good
News,Photographic works appraised by the union for Ciry Prefecture
and Autonomous Region Newspapers of the country.His news photo
works, “20 Households of Farmers’Total Corp Failure” won the second
place in the appraisal of China’s Evening News in 1998.He has
interviewed a lot of serious abrupt incidents,and has given many
reports of criticism on bad social phenomena.Thus,greater social
influence has come into being.
Since his engagement in Photography in 1983,more than 360
photographs have been published or exhibited in
international,national and provincial press.Over 30 photographs have
been awarded prizes and have gone into the Collection of Chinese
Artist Biography and the whole collection of Chinese Photographers
and so on.
