He has captured America's natural beauty as seen in his pictures of the redwood forests north of San Francisco; the diversity of American life,as seen in his pictures of San Francisco's Chinatown;and the colorful way Americans celebrate, as seen in his shots of the Rose Bowl Parade in Los Angeles. I lived in California twenty years ago.His pictures brought back strong memories and made me more than little homesick. I thank him again and wish him every success on his exhibition. |
 1999年11月10日至15日，刘毓栋先生在广州市文化公园举办了《异国风情--美国行摄影展 》。美国驻广州总领事馆新闻文化 领事康牧凯先生出席了开幕式，并向刘毓栋先生发了贺信，现将 贺信全文刊发如下： 我在此祝贺刘毓栋先生在美国拍了这么多好照片。三藩市北部的 红树林的照片展现了美国自然风光的秀丽，三藩市中国城的照片生动 地反映了美国生活的多元化，而洛杉叽玫瑰节游行的照片则栩栩如生 地讲述了美国人庆祝节日的多种方式。 二十年前，我在加利福尼亚州生活过，刘先生的照片勾起了我的 回忆，让我倍感思乡。 最后，我要再一次谢谢他并预祝此次展览圆满成功。 |
